    Meet Brianne, the passionate founder of Ethique, who started her journey back in 2012 in her Christchurch home, mixing formulas in her kitchen and formulating the first-ever solid shampoo bar, Mintasy, as an alternative to the staggering 80 billion plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles that are thrown out globally each year.

    Frustrated by the amount of waste created by the cosmetics industry, Brianne's deep passion for the environment and science drove her to learn cosmetic chemistry and formulate plastic-free, cruelty-free, and vegan products with ethically and fairly sourced ingredients, paying staff a living wage, donating 2% of sales, and remaining plastic-free.

    Today, Ethique offers a range of skincare, home, and pet products, all with the goal of preventing plastic bottles from being made and disposed of in landfills around the world.

    How to use

    Shampoo & Shave Bar: Wet your hair, body & bar. Slide from root to tip 3-4 times, place bar aside and lather shampoo into hair. Rinse and follow with your favourite conditioner bar. Apply to body as desired and shave with your reusable razor. 

    Laundry & Stain Remover Bar: Wet bar and rub directly onto wet clothing. Massage lather into fabric and leave to soak before rinsing thoroughly. If using as a stain remover, rinse out before placing into washing machine. Repeat for stubborn stains. 

    To get the most out of your bars, store out of direct water and let drain completely between uses.
